The enclosed garden is a beautiful surprise, landscaped with natural planting, shingle and decking and a fenced pond, a welcome retreat after a long day exploring the 1066 area.

There are two decked areas, one for alfresco dining and the other overlooking the stream that runs behind the property. There is a fire pit on the shingle garden for melting those marshmallows while sipping a cool drink and star gazing on a barmy evening.
