About the Accommodation

Les Dunes is a family-friendly holiday home sleeping six, only minutes from the dunes and beautiful beach in Camber Sands, East Sussex.

The property has a chic French contemporary feel and has been furnished with comfort and style in mind.

Set over three floors and combining all the latest eco-friendly technologies, means a stay at Les Dunes is not only good for you but good for the environment too.

On the ground floor, there is a large utility room with a separate washing machine and tumble dryer. A door leads to the ground floor double bedroom with direct access to its patio area. Outside seating and shower facilities make this the perfect spot for washing your sandy toes after time spent on the beach. Ample space for storing bodyboards, kite surfing equipment and bucket and spades.

Stairs lead up to the open plan lounge/diner and galley kitchen with large French doors opening out onto a large decked balcony with table and chairs for outside dining, overlooking the communal garden. The lounge has ample room for all the family on the comfy sofa or chairs, large flat-screen TV and Sky TV. The kitchen is bijou but well equipped including a dishwasher. There is wifi throughout the property. From the decked balcony, there is access down to the shared communal wild garden.

Stairs lead up to the family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, heated towel rail and shaver point. The twin bedroom with large windows and a small turret balcony gives the room a bright and spacious feel.

Stairs lead up to the master suite with an ensuite shower room and your very own balcony with seating. The perfect spot for your morning coffee or an evening tipple as the sunsets.

The beach is only minutes from the property, climb the dunes and pick your spot, the choice is endless as the miles of sand stretch before you. The perfect spot for leisurely paddles, building sandcastles, body boarding in the safe shallow waters or soaking up the sun's rays. The property is a great base for water sports, with Camber Kite surfing Centre close by and Rye Water sports only a 5-minute drive away. Both offer lessons and kit hire. Camber E-bike hire is 5 minutes from the property and with local cycle routes heading in both directions from the property, a great way to explore Romney Marsh or if you wish to leave the car behind and explore Rye.

Whatever the season a stay at Les Dunes is always a tonic, whether you choose to stay for two nights or a week, you will leave feeling refreshed.

Transport

• Good transports links available if visiting by train - from London you can get to Rye via Hastings or alternatively from Ashford International station.
• If traveling from Europe via the Eurostar, then depart at Ashford International and get the connecting Marsh link train to bring you to Rye.
• If driving from Europe, the village of Camber is about 45 minutes from the ferries at Dover or the Euro Tunnel at Folkestone.
• Gatwick airport - approximately 50 miles from the property.
• There is an hourly bus service from the village that travels to Rye & Folkestone.
• Taxis available from Rye Railway station.
• Car free cycle and footpath all the way to Rye from the village about 3 miles.
